This policy explains what personal data NMC collects, why, and what rights you have over it. In plain English, and no longer than it needs to be.

Who we are

This site is run by NMC Digital Consulting Ltd (trading as NMC Consulting), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17446334, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. What we collect, and why

• Newsletter. If you subscribe to The Operator's Note, we collect your email address so we can send it to you. Handled through our email provider, Kit (ConvertKit).
• Bookings. If you book a call, we collect your name, email and the details you choose to share (such as your company, website and where it hurts most). Handled through our scheduling provider, Cal.com, so we can hold and prepare for the meeting.
• Enquiries. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
• Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. This does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

Our legal basis

We rely on your consent for the newsletter (which you can withdraw at any time), and on our legitimate interests, or taking steps to enter into a contract with you, for bookings and enquiries.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run NMC, each acting under their own privacy terms:

• Kit (ConvertKit) for the email newsletter
• Cal.com for scheduling and calendar invites
• Microsoft 365 for our business email
• Vercel for website hosting and analytics

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. If you follow a link to a booking or newsletter page hosted by one of our providers, that page is governed by their own cookie and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter details for as long as you stay subscribed, and booking and enquiry details for as long as we need them for the engagement or to meet our legal obligations. When you unsubscribe or ask us to, we delete your details.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and to data portability. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the one-click link in every email. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@nmcconsulting.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised date above.
